With so many innocent Pakistanis being killed by drone strikes, sentiments in the country are running high. The United Nations and other humanitarian organizations are silent, and now 180 million people in Pakistan are in favor knocking down drones as they enter Pakistani territory.

In his address, Ameer Jamat-ud-Dawah, Pakistan, Professor Hafiz Muhammad Saeed said that by rulers giving permission for America to conduct drone strikes our people are being betrayed. The names of these traitors should be exposed. We are not going to let this issue pass, and the Chief Justice has a role to play in exposing these names in the same way he is exposing the names of other corrupt people.
This is a time to make decisions and simply trying to cool the heated emotions of the people will not work. It is the job of the rulers not just to make small talk in the APC, but now is the time for decision making as things have reached the limit and can’t go any further. If Nawaz Sharif makes a brave decision, insha’ALLAH the whole Pakistani nation will be behind him. However, if he chooses to follow the same path as Musharaf and Zardari, the nation will never be with them. This is a big challenge for Nazwaz Sharif in terms of policies towards America. Stopping drone strikes will benefit Pakistan tomorrow in terms of other issues we face.
America is simply posturing and checking Pakistan, and this is their method of probing us to see how much they can push us without us getting too agitated. Our inaction encourages them to go one step further each time.
The American Secretary of State, John Kerry, said that India has a big role to play in Afghanistan. With the excuse that India can maintain peace in Afghanistan, they want India to take troops there, which simply means that Pakistan would have India on its western border as well. This would mean a huge threat to our security.
After drone strikes, there is automatically a stream of suicide bombings, and these drone strikes are conducted just for this purpose, and so that Pakistan experiences instability through loss of life. The bombings and target killings that we witness in Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa, Baluchistan and Karachi are a direct result of the conspiracies planned by Israel, India and America.
Hafiz Saeed further said that through drone attacks Pakistan has been engaged in a constant one-sided war in which Pakistan is the victim. Nawaz Sharif should call all the religious leaders and have a consensus to act against the attacks faced by Muslims across the ummat. Te situation the Egypt faces is because of the conspiracies of Israel and America.
Israel and America do not want Islam to spread. America is not interested in democracy, as it simply an enemy of Islam and will do anything to act against it. In Pakistan, there must be unity to combat the enemies of Islam.
Our relationship with China is good news. It’s important to get out of these IMF loans because these loans from them have destroyed Pakistan’s economy. Along with keeping China by our side, we must also raise up Islam.
Ex Secretary of the Lahore Bar, Abdul Latif Saraaee, said that Musharaf gave in to the American requests repeatedly, and instead of lessening Pakistan’s problems, they only increased. Nawaz Sharif must take a strong stance against these drone attacks.
The president of WAPDA piyam union said that the government must be brave to take a decision to shoot down the drones and they must give the orders to do this.
The representative of the Anjuman traders, Tariq Gujar, said that the drones can be shot down, and we must keep on raising our voices for this. We stand behind Hafiz Saeed in his stance on the drone attacks.
