The Ameer of Jamat-ud-Dawah, Pakistan, Professor Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, has said that if India does not stop desecrating the Quran and carrying out genocide against Muslims, a massive freedom movement will rise throughout India and not just Kashmir.
We will never abandon our Kashmiri brothers and leave them to the mercy of India, and we will go to every extent to help them.
Muslims will never tolerate desecration of the Quran. By such acts, the freedom movement in Kashmir will only get stronger.
Our rulers want back channel diplomacy with India, and they want o purchase electricity from India, instead of liberating our waters from illegal Indian control. Hafiz Saeed made these statements while addressing a large Jumma congregation in Faislabad at Markaz e Khyber.
On this occasion, there were a number of arrangements made for a sit in that was so immense that there was not much room left to move around. All that can be seen for great distances were heads of people sitting and listening attentively.
Present on the occasion were political, religious and social activists as well as people from all walks of life, including a large number of women and children. There was a separate arrangement for women.
There was also very strict security arranged by Jamat-ud-Dawah on the occasion, and every individual was searched thoroughly.
During his address, Hafiz Saeed said that it was utterly depressing that Kashmiris are facing immense torture and the Pakistan government has been standing by silently, as though they don’t want to displease the Indian government. He made these statements in view of the insane actions of the Indian military carried a day ago in a masjid in Kashmir.
He said that the evil face of the Indian military has been exposed repeatedly before the whole world. India must remember that by using force of any kind will never stop the movement for freedom in Kashmir.
He said that everyone says that there is no electricity in Pakistan, but no one asks why this is the case. The truth is that India is occupying our waters and has controlled them to such an extent that electricity production is affected. They have built dams and are using our waters to produce more electricity and improve their economy while our people are suffering.
Our rulers must remember that Muhammad Ali Jinnah said that Kashmir is the aorta (jugular) of Pakistan, and without the aorta, a body can never be complete and cannot be survive.
India, the so-called largest democracy of the world showed its true colors once again when it fired indiscriminately on innocent Kashmiri protesters killing several of them who were justifiably protesting peacefully to India’s desecration of the Quran.
The next day the Indian forces imposed curfew in Kashmir to quell any more protests, and people could not even assemble for the Friday obligatory congregational prayers (Jumma). The leadership of Huriyat has been jailed too.
In response to this, on the Pakistani side of the Line of Control, people marked Youm ul Haq, which is now a point of grave concern for Pakistani rulers who are desperate to befriend India.
Kashmiri Muslims are trying to remind Pakistanis that before any one-sided friendship with India, the Kashmir problem must be solved, and the solution is only independence.
Hafiz Saeed further said that America and its allied forces couldn’t achieve their goals in Afghanistan despite having all the advanced technology in the world. They bombed Afghanistan rampantly, killing innocent people in thousands and also destroyed homes and masjids. Today, those same forces are running for their lives.
India on its part with the backing of the Americans are trying to do the same thing to Kashmiri Muslims by killing them indiscriminately and now they are entering masjids and desecrating the Quran. They will meet the same fate as America and the NATO forces.
Hafiz Saeed said that it is the responsibility of the Muslim Ummat to spread the influence of the Quran. Since we have turned our faces away from ALLAH, we have become slaves of others. In order to change this, we have to become like the jammat of the Companions of our Prophet (Sw) who never had any sectarian divisions among themselves.
Today, Alhamdulillah, Jamt-ud-Dawah Pakistan is also helping Christians and Hindus in areas that are calamity stricken. We must abandon sectarianism and become like the followers of our Prophet (Sw), and we must follower the Seerah of our Prophet (Sw) closely.
Every individual of the Muslim Ummat must shoulder the responsibility of spreading Islam. If we deviate from the instructions of ALLAH (SwT), we will land ourselves in slavery to others. In order to raise this Ummat, we must first of all be united, and to be united we must end sectarianism.
Hafiz Saeed further said that while Indian forces are conducting genocide against Muslims in Kashmir, our rulers are standing by silently and are hoping to befriend India and improve relations through back channel diplomacy. This is a highly regrettable situation.
